A Study on the State of Industrial Health Management


Abstract
This study was carried out for 63 establishments in Chung Cheong area to evaluate the state of industrial health management by using the scoring method of Webb¢¥s model during August, 1987.
The results are as the follows:
1. The mean rate of affirmative answers for the establishment is 46 %. Especially the mean rate of philosophy and of organization is 62 % and 63 % respectively.
2. The mean rates of affirmative answers according to the sizes and types of industry are about the same.
3. 21% of the health managers are industrial health nurses. Many of the health managers are 20s.
4. There are positive correlations between resource and purpose, health management and purpose, and health management and resource items.
5. 71% of the industrial health managers is part-time doctor and 44% of the industry has no clinic room.
